It is invented by the company called DuPont. This high tech fiber is used in wide range in different applications where the strength and heat resistant is essential. I offer 100% pure kevlar wicks. In the market you can find Kevlar wicks mixed with glass fiber. It looks the same, even looks more solid and more fat, but it not lasts as long es pure Kevlar and soak less paraffin, so have less burning time.
