A soft grip is very suitable but it wears out after about a year.It has a sticky side to apply easy and avoid the moving.
Tennis grip is more sticky and absorbs the sweat, but it is very thin.
The best solution is to combine the two materials.
I recomand this grips for Contact Staffs, Dragon Staffs and Juggling Staffs.
One Contact staff needs about 4 meter of soft grip and 2 tennis grip.
